Picanha edit (Brazilian Grilled Beef)

Ingredients

1.5kg of picanha beef (top sirloin cap), Coarse sea salt, Black pepper to taste, Olive oil for brushing

How to Prepare

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Season the picanha generously with sea salt and black pepper. Place the picanha on the grill fat-side down and cook for about 6-8 minutes. Flip the picanha and grill the other side for another 6-8 minutes, until the meat is medium-rare to medium, or your desired doneness. Rest the meat for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain. Serve with rice, beans, and farofa (Brazilian toasted cassava flour).
